Israel has turned hundreds of communities across the occupied West Bank into isolated caged areas by installing fences, gates and walls.
As a result, people cannot enter or exit their own hometowns without Israeli approval.
It means the West Bank has become a disconnected series of smaller districts with severe social and economic consequences.
