The border crossing between Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo has temporarily reopened.
That's allowed Burundian nationals to return home.
Burundi closed the frontier after Rwandan backed M23 rebels seized control of the border region last week.

M23 control key cities in the region.
In February they captured Bukavu, the capital of South Kivu.
A month earlier they took over Goma, in North Kivu.
It says it's focused on restoring peace and security in the area.

Al Jazeera’s Alain Uaykani is in Uvira, where thousands of people are crossing the border into neighbouring Burundi. They include Burundians who were trapped in DRC.
