Paris’s court of appeal says it’ll deliver a verdict in the case of far-right leader Marine Le Pen by summer next year.
That’s quicker than usual, but it’s not stopped Le Pen and her supporters from claiming political meddling by judges.
On Monday she was convicted of embezzling EU funds and banned from running for office for five years.
