It has been more than a month since opposition forces in Syria toppled the Assad regime.
During the nearly 14 years of civil war - many rebel strongholds were bombarded by the army - rendering them uninhabitable.
Syrians are now slowly coming to terms with the devastation and rebuilding their lives.
