Russia has promised to respond after Ukraine carried out its most extensive attack on Russian soil since the war began nearly three years ago. Industrial sites in Moscow were damaged in the missile and drone strikes. Kyiv declared this as a pivotal moment in its conflict with Russia, marking the largest attack to date. Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has stated that Moscow remains open to contact with the incoming Donald Trump administration.
